Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at our goal zero 24 power bank right here at etrailer.com. So this here is a power bank from gold zero, and you have different options when it comes to the battery capacity. But this is a flip 24, and this can be used to either collect the power from your systems, whether you're using goal zero solar panels, or you're just charging it from your outlet, and then see that power is to charge your other devices. So this has different sizes and different colors. So you can get the flip 12, the flip 24, the flip 36.

And the main difference is just gonna be the capacity. So this has two cells on the inside. And if you get this flip 36, it will have three cells in the inside. So let's talk about what can you charge with this So this has 24 watt hours, which is why it's called the flip 24. And that translates his 6,700 milliamp hours.

What does milliamp hours mean Well, that's going to be your battery capacity. So for example, my phone here has a 5,000 milliamp hour battery capacity. This has 6,700. So if I use this to charge up my phone, I could charge up my phone completely one time and a little bit more. So this can be used to charge different things like your personal smartphones, your point of view cameras, your flashlights, rechargeable flashlights as well.

So for example, the point of view camera could be charged about five times, my phone can be charged about one and a half times. And then some rechargeable flashlights have 5,000 milliamp hours and they can be charged one and a half times. On the end of your flip 24, you have the battery level indicator. So the way to turn that indicator on is you just press in on your USB. It makes it click.

And then that light turns on. So speaking of ports, you have two ports. So you have an input port and an output port. So both of them are USB input and output. So part of its name is flip and that's because the output USB can be flipped up and down. You have that full range of movement there that way, no matter what device you have, it's easier to access it. Then you don't have to carry adapters and cables. You just flip it around to where it needs to go. So both ports have five volts and up to 2.1 amp. So what that means is how fast does it charge your phone or your device. So most basic chargers move one amp and that's how slow it charges. And then when you get to your faster charges, they go up and up and up like 2.5 is your modern charger that charges your phone rapidly. So make sure that your cable to is gonna be a fast charging cable if you wanna fully utilize this device. So what if you use up all of your power bank, the battery is dead, and you need to charge it up How long does it take to charge it up Well, if you plug it into a wall outlet, it's gonna take about four hours to completely fill up this power bank. You can also use this with other portable power systems. Like I have our goals zero light house 600 that allows you to charge up your power bank as well. Now, what I think is the best thing about the goal zero flip series, whether it's 12, 24, 36 is how compatible they are with equals zero solar panels. We have portable solar panels that you just clip onto your backpack, and this works so well with them. Because then as you are walking around, as you are hiking, you are also charging your power bank since it's straight into that panel and it's connected. Another really cool thing is how small it is. Like it fits within the Palm of my hand. And I have small hands, it's smaller than my phone. It's smaller than my wallet. It's only about four inches tall. So it's very easy to just put inside your pocket and you're ready to go. Also for power banks. I'm always conscious if it is attached to my solar panel, can it handle being tossed around a little bit or moving around inside of my pack Yes, it can. It has this durable aluminum body. You don't have extra parts, especially since that USB port folds right back in when you're not using it. So all in all nice, strong, durable. So my personal thoughts about the goal zero flip 24 is I think it's great. If you also have a goal zero solar panel, like the nomad seven, just because then you're fully utilizing your solar panel and you're charging as you hike. Also, since it's so small, it's so easy just to add this to your pack, add this to your bag just in case, because what if you're out there, you see a beautiful sunrise, you see beautiful views, but your camera is out of charge.
